  • I think I must’ve cursed myself talking bad about my boobage. Shortly after I posted that last blurb, an absolutely insane itch started right on the most important part of Lefty. (yes, they are called Poncho & Lefty) I have been going crazy! All last night and today… I must look like that crazed woman who doesn’t give a rat’s ass about what people think of her. I have been grabbing, rubbing, & pinching Lefty without a care. For the life of me I couldn’t figure out why the itch was there, and why so incredibly bad. We have some aloe vera sunburn gel stuff that has lidocaine in it… I glopped it on and rubbed it in. I wasn’t sure how it was going to feel but I didn’t care. Amazingly, after a few minutes, the itch stopped. Ahhhhhh …. but it was only temporary. As soon as I put my brassiere on, the itch returned. I thought maybe it was the fabric, so I changed brassieres… didn’t help. Late this afternoon, I whipped Lefty out for Coach to inspect… it looked normal to me… red from all the abuse but otherwise normal. Coach noticed a little swollen spot that resembled a bug bite maybe. So off to the bathroom I went. I stood in front of the mirror, picked up Lefty and squeezed the area a bit… pop! Just like a dang ant bite would do! Now it still itches a bit but not that desperate, I wanna cut off my nipple with a swiss army knife kind of itch… it’s a more subdued sensation. Good Lord, thank you! And now that my mind is at rest & sanity is returning, I have to wonder… how in the hell did I manage to get a flippin bug bite in that particular spot???
  • Okay, I’m done talking about Poncho & Lefty now. I promise.
  • I joined a gym today. Not for the working out part… hell no. I’m not one of those women who goes to the gym to get in shape… I’m one of the more curvy women that you don’t see in the gym. Anyway, the reason I joined is for the tanning. There aren’t any tanning salons down here… at least not that I could find. All the tanning services are connected to gyms. It works out pretty good though as the gym membership is cheaper than a membership at the tanning salon. And they have those stand up make you feel like a sexy cage dancer kind of tanning booths. This place is open 24 hours a day so I can go get tanned up at 3AM iffin I want to. While I was tanning, Coach was checking out some of the machines. They don’t allow the kind of weight lifting he does but they do have some machines that he wants to use for his hip. It’s been bothering him since June. And they have some recumbent bikes. So the plan is that we’ll go to the gym in the mornings before work, Coach will use the machines for 30 minutes and I’ll tan for 10 minutes then ride the recumbent bike for 15 minutes… then off to work we will go. We’ll see how long this lasts ha
  • Today was a nice peaceful day. We got up early like always but there was one big difference. We got up and moving. Early. We managed to leave the house around 8:30… on a Sunday that’s incredible. Normally, we don’t leave the house for any reason until at least noon o’clock. But this morning we got dressed and left… first stop was breakfast at the I-hop. Well, breakfast for Coach… for me, although it was breakfast, I had a turkey/bacon club sandwich. I’m allergic to eggs… this makes it difficult to go out to breakfast because all menu items contain some sort of egg in the food or as part of the platter. What is it about these joints that think every single person that may visit their fine dining establishment would want eggs? Can’t a person get a bagel with a side of bacon anymore? It would seem that, in fact, no… one cannot do that. No ala carte on the menus at I-hop or Denny’s any more. The wait staff always look at me a bit puzzled when I order a club sandwich for breakfast. After we finished stuffing our gullets, we worked our way over to the grocery store and did a bunch of shopping. I can’t begin to tell you how nice it was to fill up the cabinet and buy a few non-grocery items that we needed, and a few we wanted. It was great! I think it was around 11 or so when we made it home and a nap sounded wonderful… so we did. The rest of today has been lounging around the house, except for the trip to the gym for tanning and to Lowe’s for Coach. He stabilized and leveled the tin can.
  • Now it’s dinner time…. grilled chicken and pasta alfredo.
Being an adult is like looking both ways before you cross the street and then getting hit by an airplane.
