Recovery weekend.
It was much needed. I have not done a ding dang thing all weekend. We left the house one time Saturday… it was necessary or I wouldn’t have done it. But the pony needed some food, and so did we. Today we left the house but not the neighborhood. We spent a few hours in the pool. Nice.
Basically, I have slept and watched TV and read some blogs and well, that’s it. I washed a few dishes.
After the past week of being on the road I truly needed the down time. I needed to do nothing. I wish I had a few more days of doing nothing so I could fully recover. Ah well, such is life.
While watching TV last night a commercial came on that caught my eye. That doesn’t happen very often. I hate commercials. And I really don’t watch that much TV to notice commercials. But the one last night…
I didn’t laugh because anyone would need to purchase these. In fact, I wouldn’t wish the need for man pads on anyone. But what had me laughing was the fact that they are MAN PADS…kotex for men. Oh my. My humor is odd I know.
Today we have watched a few movies… Necessary Roughness, The Dilemma, and now Angels & Demons…. I must take a moment to mention that DaVinci Code and Angels & Demons have the best sound tracks ever. Take a listen….it’s fantastic:
