My mother

She has lived a life that has some adversity. She has come through those times with victory and strength. My mother has always been there for me. She has good insight and offers good opinions. She has carved her path in this world. She is a believer of God and she is not afraid to share that belief.

My father

My father is a wise man. He too has good insight and offers good opinions. He doesn’t become offended if that advice is not taken. He loves me for who I am, no matter what situation I may find myself in. He accepts me and all my little eccentricities. He does not try to change me. He loves me unconditionally.

My daughter

She is young yet strong. She is a fabulous mother and wife. Her family comes before anything else. She is my best friend. She overcomes stress and problems the universe flings at her.

My Coach

He is dedicated to his career and let’s nothing get in the way of that. When he makes up his mind to do something, he follows through. He takes good care of me and remembers things that are important to me. He listens to my thoughts and ideas. He does not discount me. I am included in his plans and adventures. He is a strong yet emotional man.

Being an adult is like looking both ways before you cross the street and then getting hit by an airplane.

  1. Wow your Mama looks just like you! Great post!

I consider my my mom my best friend also.

    • I hear that quite often… there are 4 generations of us women that all look very much alike. My mother, myself, my daughter, and all 3 grandgirls… when we put our baby pictures side by side is astonishing! And the youngest grandgirl is like looking in a mirror! It’s an odd feeling to look at someone who looks so much like you did!
