As I sat here yesterday in my dark gloom funk… somethings happened… I talked to some of my angels… my family… my support system…those who know me best… I prayed… I pondered… and I prayed some more. My whole life I have been a nurturer… a teacher… a companion… a helper… I will use this MS crap to keep on… I will turn my MS adventure into something that I hope will help others…

I will never beg or harass you to donate, or help me… hell I have a hard time asking Coach to help me with the mundane tasks… I hate asking… I’ve been so independent… but here I am… I think it’s easier this time because although I’m looking out for my own best interests…. my efforts will hopefully benefit others too…

Anywho… think about it… consider it….
Click HERE if you would like to help out and support me! I’m determined to be a good little advocate… ha! I have made the decision…. God has allowed me this opportunity… yes, I said it… my MS is now an opportunity… I will make this my purpose… I want to advocate, raise money, raise awareness… teach, write, and whatever else I can do…. it is now my passion…

#996600;font-family:Arial, Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:small;">On March 5, 2011, I’ll be participating in the Walk MS: San Antonio Presented by H-E-B at the AT&T Center.

It would mean the world to me if you would join me in my efforts and raise funds to help in this adventure (yes it’s my new adventure).

I am embracing this and I need your help in doing that. This is only the beginning.

You can walk on my team… or you can donate to my team… or you can pray for me…

If you want to follow my journey with MS and the other junk in my life you can find my writing at

Peace and Love to you all!

#996600;font-family:Arial, Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:small;">I am walking because for now I can. I am walking because I have to. I will not let MS beat me down… I will rise to the occasion and make the most of this adventure.

Multiple sclerosis interrupts the flow of information from the brain to the body and stops people from moving. Every hour in the United States, someone is newly diagnosed with MS, an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system. Symptoms range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment, made possible from the funds raised in events like the Walk MS, are moving us closer to a world free of MS.

#996600;font-family:Arial, Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:small;">It is oh so important that I find a way to make MS a part of my life. I have decided to make MS my new passion. I will be an advocate. I will write. I will join. I will teach. I will support…

Won’t you help me do these things?

Being an adult is like looking both ways before you cross the street and then getting hit by an airplane.
