sheesh…

the HDD actually has failed… completely… no computer boot possible… dang it…

spent 30 minutes on the phone with the manufacturer and got permission to send it for repairs… FREE! warranty work… bet your ass it better be free… i bought the computer 5 months ago… one of those things that can happen with man made technological wonders… they sometimes fail… oh well

so for the next several days/weeks i will be on the iHal (my nemisis) or coach’s computer when he’s not home… of course if i decided to just take over his machine he would let me… he loves me like that… besides, he’s too whooped after football to even log on most nights…

finished up my application process and assessment testing for school… if all goes well i should be starting up again on October 1… i’m a bit apprehensive but also excited to get back on track… i hope the health compartment of my world holds up for me to finish up this degree thing…

my friend is not feeling so well… and there’s nothing that i can do to help her… that breaks my heart… i live to far away to do her much good.. the most i can do is send up some prayers (done!) and chat with her, check in on her if i don’t hear anything… not enough to satisfy me… but i think she knows that if i was closer i would be there in a second to help her do whatever needed being done… even if it was just to keep her company…

so i made a promise to myself that i would stop eating comfort food… the goal date to change that behaviour happens to be fuckin today… really? how did today get her so fast? there is so much comfort left for me to consume… now what… salad… bleh… less than 40 carbs/sugars a day… that is going to beat me up and make me a bitch…

poor coach

  1. If only our bodies came with warranties…..now that would be worth some bucks. Since you have an ibackup, it’s good they will fix it for you. I hate it that *they* are going to *fix* it, though. The ever-a-skeptic doesn’t trust *them* to do a complete job. No, my skeptic thinks they will just fix it good enough to last through your warranty. Never mind that my laptop is working on its fifth year. Hard to believe, bit it’s so. Thank God this happened to coincide with good ole football season, eh?

  2. Sending good wishes your way for both your computer (grrr) and your school applications.
