my man… he’s a keeper… he fixed the AC today… thank goodness! it feels so much better in here… i was getting sorta cranky sleeping in the hot waking up all sweaty with my pillow drenched… not pretty… not pretty a’toll

had football tonight… JV game… the school we played doesn’t have a varsity team… not enough players… so tonight was a JV game and it was their homecoming… we won… 23-16 was the final score… was a good game…

but they have this coach… and he is unbelievable… i think he had about 14 too many red bulls before the game or something… he was jumping and spitting and rubbing his head like curly on the 3 stooges used to do… he was laying on the ground pushing himself around in circles with his feet – until he hurt his back LOL seriously though… i have never seen a grown person who is in charge of kids, a leader, a coach – act like that… there’s no way for me to describe it and do it any justice at all…

i’m teaching tomorrow… and i don’t really want to… wait, i don’t mind the teaching part.. it’s the driving 123 miles in the morning, teaching for about 5-6 hours then driving 123 miles home… bleh

coach is teaching health this year… and he has a couple of planned parenthood chicks in there a few days a week covering the sex ed part of it all… i have never met them but he has told me about them… well, this afternoon one of them called and coach handed me the phone… she wanted the information on my team for the MS walk on the 29th… so i emailed her the links… about 2 hours later i got a notification that i have a new team member! she joined the team…she’s walking with me… amazing folks in my world… and she and the other chick are both college students working on their masters in health ed… they are going to pass out fliers and donation forms… woot!

sometimes, when a woman reaches my age… and has a kid.. and has MS… coughing can create some embarrassing problems… sometimes… sneezing does it too… i hate this shit

Being an adult is like looking both ways before you cross the street and then getting hit by an airplane.

  1. Just so you know, I have the same problem without the MS … coughing, sneezing, laughing, bouncing, you name it.

    • i had the problem a little before the MS settled in… and normally it only happened when i was sick… but now it’s all the freakin time lol i guess it’s one of those things we all have to deal with at some point…. ugh

  2. Sigh.  Your embarrassing problems beset me too.  I know the whereabouts (and the calibre) of every public loo in town.
Love that you are getting new members for your walking team.
