-You know what amazes me? My computer screen looks clean to me all the time. I dust it off with its special little rag frequently and it looks pretty to me. But when I had to spend time outside yesterday, in the glare of the daylight, my screen was FILTHY! How can that be? Every little speck of dust & debris was laughing in my face.

-My carpets are so pretty and clean now! This guy did a fabulous job… really. It’s nice to just sit here and look at the floor. And when I fall it will be comforting to know that my ass (or my face) will be hitting a nice clean floor for a change. I sat here last night and just admired the carpets. Now I just have to put things back where they were… or better yet, find homes for the stacks of stuff that haven’t yet found a home & at this moment are still piled up on the couch. I’m going to take my time though so I can get things properly stored in places that make the most sense. Some of it I really need to go through as well. Much of what is piled up came from the job. Notebooks, files, etc. that I can trim down. I need to keep the essential things or the things I may want to reference in the future at some point.

-I may have found the solution for the Queen waking me up at way too early in the morning! I was so happy this morning when I woke up and heard Coach up cooking breakfast. That means the Queen didn’t get me up! Last night, I moved her dog bed to the foot of our bed where the bedspread hangs down. It created a tent-like effect, which she loves. Once I got up out of the bed, I checked… and she was still in her dog bed! Coach said she hadn’t gotten up at all while he was cooking! Woot! Now, fingers crossed that this is the solution and my sleeping hours will be extended a little bit.

-Dreams… I don’t dream often, or if I do, I don’t normally remember them. But this morning I woke up thinking of goats. Yes, goats. I had the craziest dreams about goats last night. I know this sounds odd. Believe me, I know. For years I have wanted goats. Just 2 little pigmy goats to enjoy… they are such fun to watch… Anyway, my dreams were all about the pigmy goats. Other than wanting a couple of goats for pets, I have to wonder if there is any significance to goat dreams… Hold on, I’ll be right back… I must go find a website and check LOL

Found it!

To see a goat in your dream represents your lack of judgment and your gullibility. Alternatively, goats are symbolic of sexuality, sexual desire, and lechery.  Also consider the associations with the goat as in “scapegoat” or “getting someone’s goat”. Do you feel that you have been blamed for someone else’s deed?

To dream that a billy goat butts you forewarns of deceit, underhandedness, and lies.

Okay, I prefer to think I was dreaming of goats simply because I’d like to have a few of the animals.

-I cannot wait for November 7th to arrive. Really. It’s going to be such a relief to have all this BS over and done with. I know, I shouldn’t say that. But I’m so sick of all of it. Truly sick of it. I wonder how many friends will no longer be friends when it’s all over. I don’t remember ever seeing such contempt, such division between people.

-That’s all I have for now. I’m going to lay in my bed and rest up for tonight’s game. It’s 100 degrees AGAIN today. Pft. I’m thinking I need to write Mother Nature a letter requesting fall.

Being an adult is like looking both ways before you cross the street and then getting hit by an airplane.

  1. Clean, fresh carpets are so nice to do a face plant on. Well, maybe not because of the lack of thick padding. But still…

I was fully expecting to see a picture of a goat at the bottom, not of a chicken.

Is it safe for your computer to be using it outside in hundred degree weather? I thought they needed to be kept cooler than that as a rule.

    • I didn’t use the computer for very long outside…. it was hot and I didn’t want to burn it up. After a few minutes, I was able to finish up what I was working on then took it back inside.

I have to find some goats to photograph…I love that chicken picture so thought I’d share it LOL I didn’t even think about folks expecting a goat and getting a chicken ha!

  2. I love the rooster, and would not have gone with the dream interpretations for goats either.

    • He was my Dad’s rooster… he was pretty funny. More like a dog than a rooster at times. There was one chicken that would sit on my Dad’s lap while he was on the porch… crazy.

  3. Psst… I think that’s a chicken, not a goat!
