-The homestasis of my body’s ecosystem is quite disturbed today. It would seem that my insides would rather spend this wonderful day on the outside. To put it all in the perspective a macho teenage boy – I’ve been hurling chunks since about 2 in the AM.

-We went to a Christmas party last night with the people in the special ed department that work with Coach. This party has nothing to do with the homeostasis of my ecosystem because there was nothing consumed that would have disturbed the ecosystem. Anyway, it was a nice party and it was fun to meet some of the people that Coach works with that I haven’t met before. There was lots of food. Everyone brought a dish of some sort. I made German mashed potatoes… there were tamales, pizza rolls, an assortment of chips & dips, jalapenos on the half shell..they are sort of like potato skins with cheese & bacon on top and baked… There were ribs, casseroles and much more. I did very well with the food, refusing to overload or get to out of control. I had 2 tamales, a spoonful of green bean casserole, 1 small pizza roll, and a few chips (about 5). I drank diet coke with nothing other than plain ol ice in it.

-Good God I wish my stomach would settle down. And this blasted burping must end!

-I hope that my plan for today will come to fruition…. sleep, relax, no more chunk hurling, and maybe a bit of recovery.

Being an adult is like looking both ways before you cross the street and then getting hit by an airplane.
