photo 3 This is my roller coaster face. Or at least it used to be.

These days it’s my swing set face. The holes in my brain cause very dramatic sensations from motion… back & forth, up & down. No more swinging for me… or boat rides or any number of other things. I guess when I get a hankering for the roller coaster feeling I can just sit on a swing… much more accessible and a lot less money. Ha!

It’s been a busy busy time for me. I stay busy but it’s been really busy as of late. I was called back to work the other night for a fire. No one was hurt… and the amazing thing is that firewalls really do work. The fire was contained to one office space and all the attached areas were completely protected from fire, smoke, and heat.

This afternoon we are headed to another he-man pissing contest. Coach will be competing once again and working to keep his world, national, and state titles as strong-man. I bought a new toy for the big event… a video camera! I’ve never really shot any video. I mean, I had one of those little flip video cameras but those are pretty casual. Now I have a good quality video camera. I’m excited to try it out!

Here’s just a plain face. I really like my new glasses. The world is so pretty and clear… even in the peripheral.

I’m headed out to work now.

 Happy Friday!

Being an adult is like looking both ways before you cross the street and then getting hit by an airplane.

  1. I know what you mean by the dizzy thing when on a swing. I got on one a few years back and I couldn’t believe how it affected me! It was almost like I was high.

I love your new glasses. Peripheral vision is just a bonus.

  2. Welcome back. Looking forward to seeing the magic you work with the video camera.

  3. I never liked roller coasters, so the look on my face would have been one of abject terror!! Great specs!!
