  • I don’t have to carry in the groceries
  • The best seat in the house is saved for me
  • More prayers have been said in my honor than in my entire lifetime to date! (and I’ll take all I can get)
  • Tremors will help to reduce the money spent on “AA”s
  • The UPS man visits my door unexpectedly and leaves pretty gifts from friends who love me (Thank you Carri)
  • People who didn’t like me before are suddenly very nice to me
  • I’m allowed to be just a bit more crass and crazy than I have been … ahem.
  • My sense of humor, although always twisted and dark, is developing!
  • My muscles are getting one hell of a workout – gives new meaning to isometrics ha!
  • I can take a nap whenever the mood strikes and no one will complain

Being an adult is like looking both ways before you cross the street and then getting hit by an airplane.
