>i have a question or two to ask those of you using Copaxone…

my first shipment is arriving tomorrow… yea! (i think)… i am having a visit from the nurse on friday…so friday is the first day of the rest of my life – at least until something else better comes along ha!

anyhow, my question (s)

1.  do you take your shot in the morning, afternoon, evening?

2. why?

3.  did you notice a boost in your energy level from Copaxone? (someone told me it makes him hyper but there are no stimulant properties in Copaxone or Mannitol)

the different peer counselors that have called me have differing opinions…. so i’m wondering what the people who use the stuff day in and day out think….

Being an adult is like looking both ways before you cross the street and then getting hit by an airplane.

  1. >I am brand new to it all… last night was the 10th injection. It's not so bad really but it does leave a huge whelp and sometimes a red spot that lasts for days. The ones in my belly don't hurt (got plenty of fat there) but my legs hips and arms kill me! Not hardly any fat in those areas to work with…. eek!

  2. >thanks! that is pretty much on track for what i've been reading on my own… i'm thinking morning is going to be the best time for me… coffee, cigarette, and a shot… ha!

  3. >I'm not on it anymore, but i was for 5 years…i started taking it in the evening, but then switched to the morning. I found that if i was out when i got home i would forget to take it so i made it a part of my morning routine. I never noticed a boost of energy; in fact i think i can safely say that i had no reaction to it at all except swelling/itching at the injection site and that eventually went away.
