There is nothing like making up for lost time…. Rainfall at 1 inch per hour… See that red #1 down there? That is almost exactly over the tin can. When one clicks on it this is what it says:

A THUNDERSTORM… MOVING NORTHWEST AT 20 MPH… WILL AFFECT SAN CARLOS… NURILLO… MUNIZ AND LOPEZVILLE… UNTIL 445 PM CDT. GUSTY WINDS UP TO 40 MPH WILL OCCUR. THIS STORM WILL PRODUCE PEA SIZE HAIL. RAINFALL RATES OF 1 INCH PER HOUR ARE EXPECTED.
The tin can, she’s a ‘rockin’ this afternoon. And the claps of thunder make me jump… woot!

We’re getting rain today and tomorrow. We need it so much that I’m not complaining. Amazing how our grass looks like shredded wheat in spots, our flowers dried up, and the leaves look like cardboard. BUT the weeds grew like crazy!! Crazy weather!

Oh wow. I am not a fan of thunderstorms – a bit too wussy for them. Rain is an entirely different matter. Can we have it when you have finished with it please?
